These LED track lights give a surprisingly bright light which is perfect for tasks such as over a preparing table or kitchen sink. We have had customers replace 35 watt halogen track lights and claim that these 1.5 watt LED track lights are just as bright. This is a small focused LED light specially designed to take the high peak voltage of 12V AC track lights powered from a 120 volt system and using a transformer to reduce the voltage to 12V AC. This light also works on 12VDC. This LED light uses only 1.5 watts of power, has extremely long life and uses the G5.3 two pin base common to many track lights. A perfect replacement for low wattage MR 16 halogen lights that use much more power.
