This 5.5 watt LED light bulb is highly efficient. The amount of light you get for only 5.5 watts will surprise you!They are made to have an extremely long life, as they use an oversized heat sink as well as oversized LEDs that are operated well below their maximum current. The daylight colour lightens any room where good contrast is needed, and is fantastic for tasks and reading. Not only does this LED light replace a 50 watt incandescent, it lasts at least 50 times longer as well! We replaced a 13 watt CFL with one of these lights and could not tell a difference.
These LED lights shouldn't be in an enclosed fixture, as they need to keep cool. Don’t forget, this specific LED bulb will last at least 7 times longer than a CFL!
