You can use your own controller with this LED streetlight, or you can purchase one from our 'Solar/Light Controllers' page. This streetlight works with our 24 VDC 'ICOS" controllers. These LED street lights are especially suited to solar power systems due to their extremely high light output and their ability to be dimmed during part of the night. When one of our dimming controllers (sku of SC-L) is used with these LED streetlights, the possible power saving is surprisingly large. This combination of extremely high lumens per watt (100+ lu/watt) plus dimming, can reduce your winter solar array and battery bank sizing such that the light has paid for itself!
