The LED board directly contacts the heat sink of the housing ensuring excellent thermal characteristics. Using only 2.3 amps at 12 volts DC, this LED floodlight gives over 2800 lumens. At a height of 12 feet (4m) the light coverage on the ground is 35 ft (11m) X 35 ft (11m), and the flood light will allow most people to easily read a newspaper in this area. This floodlight works with all of our 12 VDC 'ICOS' controllers. These LED flood lights are especially suited to solar power systems due to their extremely high light output and their ability to be dimmed during part of the night. When one of our dimming controllers (sku of SC-L) is used with these LED floodlights, the possible power saving is surprisingly large. This combination of extremely high lumens per watt (100+ lu/watt) plus dimming, can reduce your winter solar array and battery bank sizing such that the light has paid for itself!
