This LED bulb will give a white light to a small area and uses only 4.6 watts of power. The LEDs are inside an 11cm (4 3/8") special frosted plastic globe. Most people would find it sufficient to read by if they are close to the light. This LED bulb has extremely long life, unlimited on/off cycles, immediate cold starting at full brightness and uses the standard medium Edison screw base. Perfect for a small space such as a pantry.
